My kids love to learn along with music and we sure love our Classical Conversations History Sentence audio tracks!
Our routine is we will do our devotions at the breakfast table and listen to a song/sing along/worship. We will do hymns or Bible verses to music.
Here are some music recommendations that we love to use.
King Things: They have each of the CC Bible memory work set to music. It really helps and encourages memorization. We have played these in our community day as well.
The Rizers: They are very fun, modern, and very dancable music ministry that sings Bible verses for memorization help. We love having this on in the background while the kids play outside or when their friends are over.
Scripture Lullabies: These are a favorite in my home during quiet time, nap time, sleep time, or I-am-on-the-verge-of-loosing-my-mind-if-I-have-to-break-up-one-more-fight time. They are calm and quiet lullabies to pieces Scripture.
Steve Green: Hide 'em in your Heart: These are CLASSIC to me. I grew up to these very CD's and it was quite surprising, when I had kids of my own, how much I remembered of them! They sing Bible verses with the goal to hide God's word in your heart. They still help me to this day!
Seeds Family Worship: They have a ton of AMAZING music here that my kids love! There are too many to list. But we love supporting them and their ministry of music.
These music tracks make great gifts - and actually are FREE to listen to on Amazon Prime Music (well, a lot of these above are). Also, we connect our Amazon Echo or Dot to our Prime Music account to listen on demand in various places of our house. You can even stream music over multiple devices throughout the house at the same time. This helps us turn whining into worship with our work!
We will be adding to this blog post along the way! Do you have any music recommendations? We would love to hear them!
